Check out the first five minutes of his recent class.
“Whether you already have an established creative practice or dream of having one—or just enjoy hearing about how a variety of brilliant folks achieve their best work—I will do my best to leave you with new ways to think about the creative process, new strategies to try out in your own lives, and a wealth of stories about how some of history’s greatest artists and thinkers have navigated many of the same challenges we all face.”
– Mason Currey, Five Things I’ve Learned about Subtly Maneuvering the Creative Process
Last Thursday, author and editor Mason Currey joined Five Things I've Learned to share all he’s learned about how they get their work done – and about the small changes we all can make to forge a more productive relationship with our own creative forces.
In Five Things I’ve Learned about Subtly Maneuvering the Creative Process, Mason Currey shares all he’s learned by studying the everyday habits, routines, and mindset shifts that helped some of history’s greatest artists and thinkers – figures as wide-ranging as Virginia Woolf, John Cage, and Vincent van Gogh – get their work done. While detailing their stories, he’ll also showcase practical strategies and subtle changes you can apply to your life to build a more sustainable, productive, and rewarding creative practice of your own.
