There's a lot I love about this one, not the least of which is that it's by a community college adjunct professor! (Same 🙋🏼♀️) Also, anything about or from Austin brings me back to the time I lived there. But the really beautiful story is the "our children are watching" one, closely followed by our "crowded election booths." Lovely piece. Thank you.
